Sat one evening at the dining table, snow falling heavily outside as the beast from the east hits. The entirety of the UK is in panic once again and after three dumpings of snow over the past few months I can honestly say I'm no longer a fan of this cold slushy stuff. It was fun and beautiful at first but when you're running your own business it can start to be a pain. Anyway... I turn to my friend plead with him for a sunny vacation. It was meant to be Spring after all... but where do we go ? After a few conversations and internet trawls trying to find the perfect mid-week break, Barcelona popped to mind. In that same moment both flights and a stylish airbnb had been booked. We were going to find some sun; finally! As we're both creatives, when we visit a new city we always take a camera... or two.. sometimes three.. and work on creative projects for our own enjoyment. A few weeks before hand I had dusted off my Nikon FM 35MM Camera that sits above my editing desk. It was my Dads and has a lot of sentimental value to me, but I havnt used it in years. A quick research on the internet for the best film to use we decided to order six rolls of Kodak Portra 400 Film. We were both so excited to take this on our holiday but also to be really experimental and creative before hand. So... Here is the outcome of our first 35mm roll of film and a little insight into our personal lives. Peace & Love
